My teaching is built on my years of tournament and coaching success. Since I started competing at tournaments in high school, I was a key part of four team awards won at National Scholastic Championships from 1993-1996. I was a key part of a 1994 Missouri High School co-champion team. I was the organizer, coach, and best player for the 1996 Missouri High School champion team. I contributed to that team championship by being the 1996 Missouri High School co-champion. Since then, I have been a Missouri Class Co-Champion or Champion twice and I won the top class at the 2005 Jefferson City Class Championship (ahead of a master and an expert).
